Fire door installation

FD30S-rated fire doors supplied and fitted — commercial buildings, communal corridors, staff areas and secure cupboards.

Fire doors only work when they're fitted properly. I install FD30S-rated doors to commercial buildings, secure electrical/LV switchroom cupboards, staff facilities and communal corridors — complete with door closers, seals, kick plates and the correct fire-door signage.

What's included

  • FD30S-rated oak-finish and painted fire door sets
  • Glazed fire doors with vision panels for corridors
  • Overhead door closers and intumescent seals
  • Kick plates and protective ironmongery
  • Fire door keep shut / keep locked signage
  • Integration with existing access-control keypads where required

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Send site photos

Wide shots of the doorway plus a note on rating required (FD30 / FD60) and whether it needs glazing or access control.

  2. 2

    Quote back

Free quote including the door set, ironmongery, seals and signage.

  3. 3

    Install on the day

Old door removed, new fire door hung square, seals fitted, closer set, signage applied.

  4. 4

    Clean handover

    Site tidied, old materials removed.

Timing: A single fire door install is usually a half to full day. Pairs of glazed corridor doors are typically one day.
