Treated softwood, thermally-modified timber, hardwood, and modern composite boards. Happy to advise on which suits your budget and exposure.

Does the old render or cladding need to come off?

Usually yes if it's failing. Sound render can sometimes stay and be battened over — I'll assess on the day.

How long does it last?

Composite: 20+ years with almost no maintenance. Treated timber: 10–15 years with occasional oiling.

Timing: A single feature wall runs 2–4 working days. A full house elevation is 1–3 weeks depending on size and access.
